We’ll start our visit to the Place des Terreaux, in the heart of the city by the beautiful Bartholdi Fountain. That will be the perfect place to introduce you to the city and give you some background knowlegde. We will go straigh after a silk printing workshop where you will learn all about the silk industry in Lyon and how it remains the hub for luxury brands such as Hermes.
After this very educational visit, we will start our way up the hill of La Croix Rousse and stop for an hour wine tasting paired with some finger food. The wine cellar I handpicked for you is using only the best family owned producer from the regions near by such as Burgundy or the Rhone Valley.
We will finish our walk up the hill passing by a very culturally rich district filled with craftship shops and street arts.
We will finish the visit on Place du Gros Caillou where the little breath you have remaining will be taken away by the view!
